Africa

In 2010, I traveled to Africa for the first time to film a documentary in Congo. This experience touched me deeply. The peace I experienced in that place has stuck with me immensely. Since then, I have returned to East Africa every year. I’ve had the unique opportunity to get to know different tribes and to live there for a short period of time. Africa has stolen my heart.

Countries that attract me the most are Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. To share my passion for these regions with other people, me and some friends founded the travel agency 2travel2safaris.

We don’t wanna attract mass tourism, but rather reach out to small groups of people who love nature. This way we support the local communities that take care of the parks. After all, the uniqueness of Rwanda, Congo and Uganda lies in its unspoiled nature. And in our own way we want to help take care of that.

Photography

In addition to painting, I am also passionate about photography. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember. Natural landscapes and animals appeal to me the most. As a photographer I always want to capture that one fleeting moment. Because nature lives and changes constantly under the influence of mankind and its environment. The beauty that radiates at that moment is what I try to catch in a snapshot.

Medialife 

Medialife is an audiovisual production agency located in Hasselt and Antwerp, founded by a good friend and me in the year 2007. We focus on creating compelling digital content and videos that move people. Medialife tells clients’ stories with impact, where I take on the role of creative director.
